I specialize in many therapy types. One is mother+baby dyadic therapy, in which the baby is welcome to join our therapy. This is an amazingly healing therapy type, especially for those recovering from complicated pregnancies, difficult birth experiences or whose babies are in the NICU/NICU graduates or were hospitalized.

  • My goal is to keep kids and teens on their developmental trajectory.

Some things are within the range of normal! And sometimes mental health issues get in the way of learning, growth, and development.

I’m here to formulate what’s going on, come up with a plan that makes sense to us, and navigate finding an effective approach.

I believe in working together as a team to achieve your goals.

  • How to Become a Patient: If you’re interested in becoming a patient, please click on “Make an appointment” and provide the information. After reviewing the information and I think I am good fit for your clinical needs, we can schedule a 10 minute phone call to discuss scheduling and answer questions.

Location: Currently, I am only seeing patients via secure video visit. Because of medical licensing requirements, all patients must be located in California during their visit.

Controlled Substances: In general, I do not prescribe benzodiazepines (e.g. Klonopin, Valium, Xanax) . I only prescribe stimulant medications to patients whom I have evaluated to meet criteria for ADHD.

Disability or Forensic evaluations: I focus on providing comprehensive psychiatric care, such as diagnosis and treatment. I do not provide evaluations or complete paperwork for disability claims, disability determination or legal evaluations. If you need assistance in this area, I recommend contacting a specialist.

Insurance and Rates: I am not in-network for any insurance providers. I can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Without insurance constraints, I am able to better meet your individual needs, with longer, more in-depth sessions, and personalized treatment plans. I am committed to offering exceptional, holistic, and well-rounded care. While this may mean paying out-of-pocket, I believe this approach results in more successful outcomes and a more rewarding therapeutic experience. Due to Medicare rules and regulations, I am unable to see patients with Medicare insurance plans. Rates will be discussed before our initial phone call.

Transition from surviving to thriving

Often our struggles can make us feel isolated and alone. Over the last decade patients of all ages have told me, “You made me feel heard. Because you didn’t judge me, I learned how not to judge myself.”

I leverage a strong foundation in ten psychotherapy modalities and extensive experience in medication management to help kids, teens, adults, and families transition from surviving to thriving.
